The Association of Special Libraries of the Philippines (ASLP), in partnership with the National Commission for Culture and the Arts (NCCA) through the National Committee on Libraries and Information Services (NCLIS), will conduct its 8th National Congress with a theme “Information Centers and Archives in the Age of Participatory Culture : Roles, Paradigms and Tools” from 27-29 October 2021 online.

This Congress is free for active ASLP members and has a fee of PhP. 500.00 for non-members. Please register online at bit.ly/ASLP2021congress on or before Friday, 22 October 2021.

The Association of Special Libraries of the Philippines (ASLP) will hold a seminar-workshop with a theme “#NowTrending : Strategies and Tools for Effective and Creative Marketing in Libraries and Information Centers” on 23 July 2021 Friday from 9:00 a.m. to 4:00  p.m. via Zoom.

The objectives of this webinar are :

1. To understand the concepts of marketing, its importance and benefits to libraries and information centers; 

2. To discuss various marketing strategies and tools for libraries and information centers;

4. To demonstrate how to integrate search engine optimization for effective marketing in libraries and information centers; and  

3. To present how to use content creation tools such as Canva for creative marketing in libraries and information centers.

Librarians, library administrators, support staff, teachers and students of Library & Information Science, consultants and other information professionals are invited to attend the seminar-workshop.
